Say “Yes” to Today (revised)

Why would the brook
bother to run
if you’re not there
to see it?

If the mockingbird
sang 100 songs
who’s going to
listen to it?

Would the ground doves
stay on a wire
all day, and not
fly down for seed?

Would the day lilies,
with only one day,
believe their beauty
was wasted?

Healing lies in nature.
It’s nurturing for the soul.
We are all God’s creatures.
Or have we forgotten?

    1. Yes, we even have last names in common. So nice to meet you, Frances. Hope your Thanksgiving was as blessed as mine. I look forward to knowing more about you. I just read your post on your book study about “I AM.” I’ve recently been studying John and have gotten o 14:6 which is the 6th I AM in the book of John. Living life to the fullest truly starts with enjoying time with Him first before we take on the world.

      1. Phyllis, I am excited about finding you here among the WordPress Christian Community. I, too look forward to our sharing the Lord’s work. I had hoped to have time to include all Jesus’ I AMs, but it was good that I could share the link so that all who wanted to search would find these in one place. It is amazing that these treasures are hidden from those who do not enjoy spending time with Him in prayer and His Word. We have many more blessings that we have time for thanksgiving. Blessings to you and your family in our Lord. πŸ™‚
